SKI Diffuser
SKI Diffuser is a two-dimensional skyline acoustic diffuser for rooms that need reflected sound to feel wider, smoother, and less direct without making the space overly dry. Its stepped surface helps scatter mid and high-frequency reflections in multiple directions, preserving natural room energy while reducing strong mirror-like reflections.
Use SKI on rear walls, listening rooms, studios, home theaters, music rooms, creative rooms, and feature walls where sound quality and visual impact both matter. It works best when basic absorption and bass control have already been considered and the room needs more spaciousness, depth, and life.
Best uses
- Rear-wall diffusion behind a listening position
- Listening rooms, home theaters, studios, and music rooms
- Feature walls where acoustic treatment should look intentional
- Rooms that feel too sharp or direct but should not become dead
- Spaces that already have absorption and need better reflected-energy control
How to choose a diffuser
Choose SKI when you want the strongest visual diffuser statement and two-dimensional scattering in a 60 x 60 cm module. It is the hero option for rooms where diffusion is part of both the acoustic design and the architecture of the space.
Choose RES when you want more directional one-dimensional scattering. RES is useful when you want to control reflections mainly across one plane.
Choose Chez when you want two-dimensional scattering with a calmer visual language than SKI.
Choose Assor or Elementi instead when the main problem is too much echo, long reverberation, or low-frequency buildup. Diffusers preserve more energy than absorbers, so they are usually best after the room already has enough absorption.

Placement and installation
SKI works best when the listener has some distance from the panel. As a practical starting point, keep roughly 0.9 m or more between the listener and the diffuser. One panel can work as an acoustic and visual accent. Two panels are a better starting point behind a listening position, and four or more panels create a stronger rear-wall or feature-wall array.
Wall installation uses an MDF French cleat system. Use screws and anchors appropriate for the wall type and panel weight. For overhead or custom installations, contact us so we can help review the right hardware and installation method for the project.
FAQ
Does SKI absorb sound? No. SKI is primarily a diffuser. It scatters reflected sound so reflections feel less direct while preserving more energy in the room.
Does it block outside noise or soundproof a room? No. Diffusers are acoustic treatment for reflections inside the room. They are not soundproofing or structural isolation.
Should I use SKI or absorbers? Use absorbers like Assor or Elementi when the room has too much echo, decay, or low-frequency buildup. Use SKI when the room already has control and needs more spaciousness and reflected-energy balance.
